Description

This course provides students with a comprehensive study of World History from the earliest civilizations through the global challenges of the Modern World.  To enhance the comprehension of the content, various resources will be utilized including primary and secondary sources, media presentations and audio resources, maps, art works and other artifacts. The text, online resources, Smart Board Lessons, Powerpoint Presentations, and teacher prepared materials will be used to help students grasp concepts addressed in the scope of this course. Special attention will be placed on people in history and daily life during the time periods under investigation.  The course will conclude with an extensive study of the changing world today.  Emphasis will be placed on document analysis, writing skills and technological skills which will improve the students' abilities to function in a rapidly changing world. I am looking forward to a great year at SGA!
