Description

The American History course provides students with a comprehensive study of major events and themes in our nation's history. Beginning with early European colonization, the course will also include topics like the major wars and their aftermath, political events, Industrialization and Urbanization, Reform Movements, The Great Depression, The Cold War and Modern Era. This course not only examines major events but also addresses various themes throughout United States history. The course concludes with significant developments in the early 21st Century.  The text, online resources, Smart Board Lessons, Powerpoint Presentations, and teacher prepared materials will be utilized to enhance the understanding of concepts targeted in the scope of this course. I am looking forward to a great year at SGA!
