Monday Feb. 16 - Optional 2015 Georgia Farm Bureau Middle School Essay Contest is due

 

The topic is "Make My Career Agriculture." 

Optional Daughters of the American Revolution History Essay due on Monday Nov. 17.

 

If done according to the DAR format given on handed out paper, this paper will give the student a free 100 to replace any test grade they choose during this second 9 weeks.

Unit 3 Vocab Test:

Students need to be able to:

1. Spell the words correctly

2. Identify the correct word when given the definition

3. Identify which vocab word (out of two choices) is the appropriate word for the given sentence

The student will write a 2 page fictional story. This is a "free writing" assignment in that the student can write about absolutely anything they desire, as long as it did not really happen. I will be very relaxed in my grading of this assignment. It is due at the end of class on Tuesday.

Read chapters 8 and 9 of The Hobbit, and come up with (and write down) two quiz questions from those two chapters. (One question from each chapter)
